Meet Your Therapists

Megan Stonelake, LMHC, LPC, RPT™

I have 15 years of experience working with children and families in a range of settings. I’ve worked in residential treatment, community mental health, and adoption. Before starting my practice in 2023, I spent five years as a school-based therapist first in Oregon and then in Washington.

For much of my career, I’ve been drawn to the kids who are labeled “attention-seeking.” The ones with big behaviors. The kids who are always getting into trouble at school. I’ve also always had a heart for the kids who slip through the cracks. The perfectionistic ones who are overly compliant.

I also have a passion for parents who are interested in doing their own inner work for the good of themselves and their children. Parenting can show us the ways in which we need to heal past wounds and grow. It’s an honor and a privilege to walk alongside parents as they embark on this path of introspection and discovery.

Outside of work, I’m a mother, wife, and dog fanatic. I love hiking, yoga, reading, and scouring the county for the best baked goods.

Teddy Stonelake

Teddy is a three-year-old Australian Labradoodle. He is bred to be a helper, and he is a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Teddy is very playful and social. He loves playing fetch and hide and seek with his favorite toys. He is also attuned to the emotions of the people around him, and he seems to know when someone just needs a head in their lap.

Teddy’s interests include all humans and dogs, playing at the park, and eating Crocs. Please see the FAQs for more information about animal-assisted therapy.
